GLOSSARY OF TERMS
- Guarantee Issue - Coverage

- Non-guarantee Issue - Coverage
is offered only after an underwriter has reviewed the application and
the medical history contained in it, and made a determination that the
Insurance company will accept you. If coverage is offered there will
still be a pre-existing exclusion for 12 months.
- Pre-existing condition -
any sickness or phusical condition for which you were treated, received
medical advice or had taken medication within 12 before the effective
date of your policy.

Provider Network, which is a panel of medical providers who have agreed
to contract and accept a negotiated fee schedule from an insurance company.
This results in discounts if you go to an in-network provider.

basic medical care plan that provides limited first-dollar hospital,
surgical, or medical benefits, as contrasted with major medical benefit
plans that provide comprehensive hospital, surgical, and medical benefits.
